IT firm Auxilion wins €8m of deals following launch of new data platform with AI capabilities

Irish technology consulting firm Auxilion has secured €8m in new deals following the launch of its new service management platform.

The platform, which launched last July, follows a €1.5m investment from Auxilion and allows clients to collate data stored in different locations.

It also helps to manage a firm’s technology infrastructure and features artificial intelligence capabilities to improve productivity and maintain operations.

Auxilion has now signed four contracts worth €8m as a result of demand for its new offering.

This includes several HPE GreenLake cloud solutions and the provision of service management support over the next three years.

Auxilion’s Irish headquarters are located in Dublin, while its UK operations are based in Sheffield, northern England.

The Auxilion invested €4.6m in its base in Sheffield as part of its UK expansion. This was the first phase of the group’s €17m UK growth plan.

The move is expected to double the company’s team in the UK, bringing employee numbers to 160 by the end of 2024. The firm added around 34 jobs in the UK in the first nine months of 2023.

Last year, Auxilion secured a new €9.3m contract with an unnamed global health and life sciences multinational to be delivered out of its Sheffield centre.

Auxilion also has offices in Belfast, Warrington and Telford.

It offers IT services, as well as consulting, project management and project delivery.

“With the growing prominence, or soon to be dominance, of AI, businesses will need more proactive and innovative service management capabilities,” chief executive Philip Maguire said.

“We’ve been quietly showcasing our proposition to the market and the appetite is there for an offering that optimises how companies support users, manage data and deliver for customers.”

Chief technology officer Donal Sullivan said the nature of IT was changing in organisations.

“Every business function… needs to understand how technology can be used to empower leadership, while aligning with and driving business performance,” he said.
