Irish tech firm Konversational to create up to 100 European jobs in expansion plan
Irish tech advisory firm Konversational is expanding to France, Germany and Switzerland, creating at least 32 roles.
In a statement today announcing its European expansion plans, the firm said it hopes to grow its European staff to more than 100 people within the next 18 months.
The firm, which rolls out US IT provider ServiceNow’s software to businesses in Ireland and the UK, was founded in 2020 and currently employs 40 people in Dublin.
Konversational schools companies that have bought ServiceNow’s cloud-based platforms, helping them to automate anything from customer service to security and hiring.
For its four new European offices, the company is hiring for programming and technical consulting roles, Konversational said in a statement.
The move abroad is a strategic one to capitalise on what the firm says is growing demand for customer experience technology management, particularly inFrance and Germany, which account for over a quarter of the total EU market.
The customer experience management market is valued at over €10bn, the firm said.
It is anticipated to bring in an extra €5m in revenues for the Dublin-headquartered company.
Konversational said it is opening two offices in France — in Paris and Nantes — as well as a German base in Frankfurt and a Swiss office in Zug.
The firm recently announced a €3m deal with Irish IT solutions provider Ergo.
Managing director John Gilleran said Konversational was “moving into a new growth phase”.
“Now is the right time to expand our market offering and to capitalise on the significant demand for customer experience management technologies.
“Since our foundation, we have enjoyed triple-digit growth, owing to the prioritisation of digital infrastructure investment by companies, who recognise the importance of harnessing the potential of technology to drive efficiencies and deliver an enhanced customer service offering in a competitive marketplace."
Vincent Guiheneuc, one of Konversational’s continental Europe vice-presidents, said the firm is the largest and most experienced company working with ServiceNow in customer workflow technologies.
Johann Terrier, also a continental Europe vice-president, said there were “significant opportunities” in France and Germany “where there is a strong level of investment in digital technologies”.
Konversational turned a small profit in 2021 and in 2022, according to its latest filed accounts.
